At Corliss Estates we will commemorate our 10th Washington State harvest with an especially festive celebration on Saturday, November 6th at our annual Corliss Fall Release. Invitations will be mailed to customers in September along with an offering of two wines from the spectacular 2005 vintage, the Corliss Cabernet Sauvignon and the Corliss Bordeaux-Styled Red Blend. These are wines of balance, with fully developed flavors and fragrances ready to drink now or lay down in your cellar.
Our winemaking team is hard at work in the vineyards and winery readying for this year’s harvest. The Eastern Washington weather is hot, which has ripened the fruit nicely after our cool Spring. We expect the warm weather and cool nights to continue through harvest and anticipate another fantastic vintage.
We are proud of the recent recognition given by Seattle Magazine to our sister winery, Tranche Cellars, as one of the 10 Up and Coming Washington Wines. As they reported in their August issue, the wines are “affordable with quality that exceeds their price points”. You can contact Tranche Cellars through their website at www.tranchecellars.com.
We strive to make wines of consistent, uncompromised quality, vintage after vintage, that will age gracefully for years to come. Patience is our most valuable attribute. We think and plan with a long-term approach. “Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Salute!
